Photo Op FAQ

1.  What is a photo op?

A photo op is a professional photo of you with the celebrity guest you chose. You will get a photo taken under ideal lighting conditions and shot with professional camera equipment. You will receive an 8x10” print of your photo printed on professional dye-sublimation photo printers. This print will be available at the show shortly after your photo is taken. 

2. When do I need to arrive for my photo op? 

You must arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your photo op. Be sure to check the photo op schedule for last minute changes prior to your departure to the show as well as upon arrival at the show. Do not be late. The photo op lines move at a very rapid pace once the op starts and we cannot bring a celebrity guest back to take a missed photo.

3. What should I bring with me to my photo op?

You will need to have your printed ticket for your photo op. We will scan your printed ticket during registration and give you a colored Photo Op ticket. You will bring your colored Photo Op ticket to your session.

4. When will my print be ready? 

Due to differences in print volume from show to show, the print wait time will vary. The typical wait time for prints is around 5 minutes, so please plan accordingly. We schedule autographs for the end of the day to make sure that you have your photo op should you choose to use it,

5. How many people can be in my photo op? 

The base price of a photo op includes two adults. Families may have two adults and their children under 10 . You can have up to FOUR people in one photo, but to do so you will need to purchase TWO photo op tickets.

6. Where is the photo op area? 

The photo op area will be announced on the show schedule. It will be in the vicinity of the Grand Ballroom, where the Panel/Q&A takes place.

7. Can I take my photo on my own camera? 

There are no cameras or video recording devices allowed in the photo op room, other than our photographers. 

8. How do I get a digital copy of my photograph?

A digital copy of your photograph (jpeg) will be available for FREE within 48 hours of the event. We will also post all jpegs on our Facebook Event page.

9. I have special needs or I am caring for a special needs fan who is getting a photo op, is there anything I should do? 

Please let our photo op line staff know if you or someone in your care has special needs and we will be sure to help you out. 

10. Can I purchase a photo op at the show? 

All photo ops are sold on a limited number basis, so there is a good chance they will sell out prior to the show. Should there be photo ops available on show day, you may purchase them at the check in area. We strongly advise you purchase your photo ops in advance. 

11. I have an idea for a pose or something I want the celebrity guest to do in my photo op, what do I do? 

The photo ops move at a very rapid pace, so if you have an idea please be ready when it is your turn and please do not try to be too elaborate. We do not guarantee the celebrity guests will be able to fulfill your request or there will be time for special requests. 

12. What do I do when I enter the photo op room? 

Please be sure to follow directions given to you by the photo op crew. Have your photo op ticket out and ready to hand to the attendant in the room. There is a designated place in the room to place any items you do not want in the photo with you. Any items you take into the photo will need to remain in your hands during the photo. Also, due to space constraints, only fans who are in the photo or parents of underage fans in the photo are allowed in the photo op room.

13.  I have glasses, is that a problem? 

Glasses will often glare and they also make it very difficult for the photographers to see if you blinked or not. If you do not mind removing them, we suggest you do.

14.  Can we purchase more than one 8x10 print?

Yes! We sell additional prints for $20. At the end of the Photo-Op, please purchase an additional print at our Registration table. You'll then receive a ticket to bring to the Photo Printer attendant. Please bring this ticket to the attendant between the hours of 6pm and 8pm for your reprint!

Photo-Op Rules & Courtesy Guidelines

Please review the following information carefully before your Photo-Op session:

• Be courteous to all celebrity guests. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the photo-op room and the event without refund.
  • Please do not hug, kiss, or touch the celebrity guests unless clearly invited or approved by them.
  • Do not hand pets, babies, or small children to any celebrity guest without permission.
• Follow all instructions given by the Photo-Op staff. These directions ensure safety and efficiency for both guests and attendees.
• No autographs are permitted in the Photo-Op room. Autographs will only be available during the designated autograph sessions.
• If you wish to give a gift to a celebrity guest, please do so at their autograph table, not in the Photo-Op room. (There is no space for gifts during Photo-Ops.)

Important Reminders

• Please double-check which day you are attending and which cast members are appearing before purchasing.
• Photo Op tickets are only valid for the date and guest(s) listed on your purchase confirmation.
• In the event that a cast member is unable to attend, any Photo-Op tickets purchased for that specific guest may be transferred to another available cast member of equal value or refunded (less ticketing service fees). 
  • All sales are final with the exception of the above cast cancellation. No refunds or exchanges

Photo-Op sessions are not meet-and-greet experiences.
These sessions move quickly to accommodate all fans. While our team works hard to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we ask that all attendees cooperate with staff and follow posted or announced instructions at all times.
